At Master Auto Care in Rancho Cucamonga, we know that the future of the automotive industry is in good hands—thanks to the hardworking and passionate young professionals entering the field. That’s why we’re proud to highlight exciting industry programs like the 2025 Best Young Tech Award, a national recognition celebrating rising stars in auto repair.

Why Young Technicians Deserve the Spotlight

The world of auto repair is evolving quickly. With the rise of electric vehicles (EVs), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and complex diagnostics, today’s technicians must master more than just basic repairs. Fortunately, a new generation of techs is stepping up to meet the challenge.

These young professionals are not only skilled in traditional mechanical work, but they’re also embracing the latest in vehicle technology. The Best Young Tech Award honors technicians between the ages of 21 and 35 who show exceptional ability, strong work ethic, and a true commitment to the craft. From diagnosing tough issues to delivering excellent customer service, these individuals are already making a big impact.

Could Someone You Know Be the Next Best Young Tech?

If you know a talented young technician, now’s the time to give them the recognition they deserve. Here’s what makes a nominee eligible:

  • Age 21–35
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience
  • Current ASE certification
  • Dedication to learning, quality service, and teamwork

Nominations can come from managers, coworkers, instructors—or even the technician themselves. It’s a great way to spotlight the unsung heroes who keep our vehicles running safely and smoothly.
